Professional Trainers


Anthony Tumminello
Co-Owner & Pro trainer who currently holds certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Resistance Training Specialists (RTS) , Kinesis, and Scientific Management of Anatomical Response Training (SMART). He has a BS in Exercise Science from SUNY Cortland. Anthony was an assistant strength and conditioning coach for a minor league hockey team, the Broom County Icemen, in Binghamton, NY. He has trained and conditioned athletes ranging from youth to the professional level. Anthony was also selected as a trainer for the TV series “ BUFF BRIDES “ on the Discovery Health channel in 2003. Anthony is also a co writer for the Long Island Ultimate Athlete.

Terri O'connell
Certified Personal Trainer through ISSA. East Islip Fitness Aerobic Coordinator. Terri has over 20 years of group fitness instruction. Certifications in Spin, Kickboxing, Senior Fitness, Aqua, Pilates and Group Fitness. Winner of Sayville Summer running series in 2007 female division. Placed 1st in Marine Corp Physical Fitness Challenge Women’s Division, 3rd overall in 2008. Placed 5th in 2008 NPC fitness competition.

Mark Kosofky
Certified Personal Treainer by National Academy of Sports Medicine. Mark is new to providing personal training to others, he is no straner to what it takes to set goals and rech them. He has personally lost 120 pounds and has successfully maintained his present weight for XX years.

Danielle Johnson
American College of Sports Medicine, Intership at Equinox-specializes in TRX suspension training. Danielle has interned and worked in physical therapy offices implementing rehabilitation programs for patients with both orthopedic and neutrological injuries. Through both her education and field experience, danielle has worked with a wide array of clients with different needs and goals. She attributes her success to her education and her pasion for wanting to positivsly change people's lives.

Michael Mitchell
Mike has over a decade of experience in the fitness industry. Mike is the Head Performance Coach at Prospect Sports in LI New York, and Director of Operations for the Team Taz Dojo. He has had the honor and privilege to train over a thousand clients, mentor hundreds of other trainers, and have worked in over a dozen fitness facilities. Not only has he attended countless continuing education classes on training, but he also attended several Tony Robbins seminars to learn the best strategies to empower people to make a positive change in their lives. Mike has certifications with: • ACE (American Council of Exercise) • NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) • ECITS (East Coast Instructional Training School) • Parisi Speed School Franchise Training • Cooper Institute Master Fitness Specialist • FMS Specialist (Gray Cook’s Functional Movement Screen) • Athletes’ Performance Mentorship Program (Phases 1,2, 3 & 4). Mike has presented all over the country on topics such as fitness, human movement, team building and nutrition. Mike has been featured in Newsday, Baseball Player Magazine, Chanel 12 News, and season 5 of NBC’s “Biggest Loser.” He has worked with athletes from MLB, NFL, CFL, AFL, NHL, TNA (Total Nonstop Wrestling) and The World Baseball Classic. Mike was the lead trainer for Technogym during the 2008 IHRSA convention, and awarded TSI’s High Impact Award in 2005.

Bryan Accardi
Certified Personal Trainer by Hofstra University, The Academy of applied Personal Training and SMART personal trainer. Bryan holds several certifications with the Silver Sneaker Program for seniors. Bryan specializes in training with beginners and novice clients who are looking to lose weight and tone up. I also work with seniors who have arthritis or other physical limitations. Bryan’s philosophy is to encourage and challenge clients to feel stronger and more confident with every session. I believe while getting work done, that we can make the session fun and exciting, because exercise enhances physical and mental well being. I also believe you cannot motivate someone without being motivated yourself. I make sure I weight train and keep active with softball, hockey and cardio throughout my days.

Debby Gibser
Cerrtified Personal Treainer Through AFFA, AAPTE and UNITED. Debby has 16 years of both a Personal Trainer and Manager. She has trained for and participated in NPC figuer show after the age of 50. Because of her personal dedication to daily training, Debby is in better shape now than when she was in her thirties! "building muscle mass weight taining is key to oncreasing matabolism-add some cardio and most importantly, eat wisley 5-6 times a day-get positive results!".

Charlene Colucci
B.S. from University of Massachusetts at Amherst-major in exercise science, minor Psychology.

Over 20 yrs experience in fitness industry including personal training, group fitness and aerobic instruction.

Continuing Ed classes include nutrition, core stabilization and prenatal exercise.

Personalized training programs for the promotion of physical well being, weight reduction, as well as sports specific training (i.e.: running, tennis golf) and competition training.
